Accessibility Statement

At Katie Wilson Coaching, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA (most common) and best practices.

Our Commitment:

  1. We aim to provide an accessible and user-friendly experience for everyone.

  2. We are actively working to enhance the accessibility of our website.

  3. We welcome feedback on any accessibility issues you may encounter and will work promptly to address them.

  4. Empathy and User-Centred Design: Recognizing that our client base includes new mothers, carers, and individuals who may be experiencing fatigue, mental load, or anxiety, our commitment goes beyond technical standards. We strive to maintain a simple, clean design that minimizes cognitive load and uses clear, predictable navigation. We aim to make complex information easy to digest and reduce the mental friction required to access support.

Specific Features and Ongoing Goals:

  • Readability: We focus on high-contrast text and clear, readable typography to assist users experiencing visual fatigue.

  • Responsiveness: The website is designed to be fully functional and readable on all devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop), which is essential for parents accessing content on the go.

  • Navigation: We aim for the simplest possible structure and welcome feedback if you find the site difficult to navigate. Improving the user journey to be intuitive is an ongoing priority for us.

  • Video/Audio Access: Where coaching materials or community content involves video or audio, we aim to provide captions or transcripts whenever technically possible.

Accessibility of External Coaching Tools

Our coaching programme relies on external platforms for delivery (such as our dedicated messaging platform and any private community groups). While we select tools with known accessibility commitments, their compliance is maintained by the third party. We encourage you to refer to the accessibility statements published by these providers. If you experience barriers within these tools, please let us know so we can communicate the issue to the provider and seek accessible alternative arrangements for your coaching.

Feedback and Contact Information:

We value your feedback as we continuously improve. If you encounter any barriers—whether they are technical (e.g., screen reader issues) or practical (e.g., the content is difficult to process due to fatigue, mental load, or anxiety)—please contact us directly. We view this feedback as a critical part of our development and will work with you to provide an accessible alternative where possible.
